Introduction:
Engineering is the requisition of science, maths and practical knowledge to design, build and maintain machines, devices and processes. It’s a vast field that covers almost all aspects of our lives, from the bridges we cross, to the clean water we drink.
GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management is the best engineering institute in greater noida because it has a separate Department of Computer Science & Engineering with advanced labs, classrooms and is currently ranked among the finest in the college, particularly in the last 10 years of the IT revolutionary world. The department focuses on software engineering, scientific programming, and scientific research.
This Department has a great placement record in the college till now. Many IT industries such as Amazon, TCS, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, L&T Info-tech, KPIT visit the campus for campus Interviews and end up with a sizable number of students signing up for these organizations.
Many alumni of this Department are working at a higher position in industries in India and abroad like Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, Yahoo etc. Many other students have passed some competitive exams such as GATE, GRE, TOEFL, CAT, MAT etc. with a perfect score and got their admissions in high educational Institutions in India and Universities outside India.

Top News for Engineers:
1. Reliance to hire engineering graduates across business verticals:
Reliance has officially begun its Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) 2024 program, inviting applicants for becoming young engineers across India. This countrywide recruitment initiative is made to attract fresh engineering graduates who are willing to start their professional journey or career with one of the country’s leading amalgamation. The GET 2024 program gives an entry-level opportunity, providing selected applicants with extensive training, experience, and a step to grow within the organization.
In this programme, Reliance is accepting online applications from B. Tech and B.E. graduates of the 2024 batch from different fields, such as chemical, electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation, from AICTE-approved institutes.
Shortlisted students will go through the online assessment between February 5 and 8, adding that shortlisted students will go for personal interviews from February 23 to March 1 and final selection would happen by the end of March.
2. Enrolments in Computer Engineering surge, mechanical sees a dip: AISHE Report:
As per All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) report, enrolment in Computer Engineering programs all over the country has seen a remarkable boom, while traditional areas such as Mechanical Engineering have observed a significant rejection.
This shift shows changing industry trends and student choices, as high demand for digital skills, AI, data science, software development etc. continues to grow. On the other hand, mechanical engineering was once a top choice for many engineering applicants which is facing lack of interest, due to low rate of job growth in major sectors and increasing IT & automation. The data recommends a big transformation in technical education in India.
3. Average engineering salary increases 30% in last five years: NIRF Rankings 2022:
Engineering graduates in India have seen a remarkable 30% increase in average salary over the last five years, according to data from the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) Rankings 2022.
This boom in compensation summits a growing demand for skilled engineering talent, particularly in high-growth sectors such as information technology, data science, artificial intelligence and electronics. The report suggests that top institutes have played a major role in driving this trend, with many students securing good job offers both in India and internationally.
The salary or financial growth also shows the evolving behavior of the engineering profession, problem-solving capabilities, and adaptability to the fast-changing technological world. Industries continue to digitize and expand, engineering stays one of the most secured career paths for students in India.
4. Engineering students develop cart to help vendors keep vegetables, fruits fresh during summers:
Mechanical engineering students from Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) in Mysore, Naveen H V, Shubham Sain, Supreeth S, and Vivek Chandrashekhar, made a low-cost, solar-powered cooling cart focused at helping vegetable and fruit vendors preserve their produce in this heat. They had given an explanation that the carts could be used to keep dairy products as well since the fridge of the cart could be maintained within a temperature range of 0 to 10 degrees Celsius.
The initiative of VVCE students is inspiring for engineering social impact. By designing a self-dependent, affordable cooling cart, they’ve addressed real-world challenges which street vendors have faced and now it’s been resolved and less food spoilage.
Conclusion:
Engineering plays a major role in developing the modern world. It blends innovation, and technical knowledge to solve real problems and improve the standard of living. From building infrastructure and advanced technology to protect the environment and drive economic growth, engineers are progressing. As society constantly faces new challenges, the value of engineering will grow, making it a major force in building a sustainable and better future for all. Whether you’re a student, professional, or any individual about the made environment, staying up to date and engaged with the latest developments in engineering is key to understanding the base of our modern world.
