On 25th Oct’2020, G.L.Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida celebrated “National Intellectual Property Literacy Week” to create the awareness of Intellectual property and establish an environment of protecting unique ideas of students/faculties. In this program Ms.Sumbul Masood, Company Secretary having 10 years’ experience in indirect taxation, import Export regulations, Industrial laws, IPR laws guide the students in the field of Idea protection and it necessity, types of IPR ,Company formation and its legal procedure, MSME and Startup India registration.
The program was inaugurated with the introduction of the current IPR status of GLBITM by Dr. Shradha Gupta (Convener-IIC, GLBITM) and followed by the session on Doubt vs Dream by Mr. Saiyed Saamir . The session was benefitted online by 80 Students.
In the same program to accelerate the culture from Innovation to Start-ups/Entrepreneurship-based work during Academic Year 2019-2020, the students were awarded Star GLBians Award in the field of Innovation, IPR, and Entrepreneurship.
